Everything Must Grow is driven by founder Tom Anthony’s endless curiosity and passion for bringing the life-affirming pleasures of the natural world to the city.
Hailing from South West Wales, Tom spent his childhood among passionate gardeners. From them, he learnt a love of being outdoors and the simple pleasure of helping nature to flourish. These happy memories inspired him to leave his corporate career in 2015 and pursue his calling.
In the years since, he has helped to transform hundreds of gardens and worked alongside some of the UK’s leading garden designers and plantspeople. This hands-on practical experience combined with a qualification in garden design from the English Gardening School have seen him develop into a skilled practitioner with a deep understanding of the profession.
In his work, Tom seeks to break the false divide that is sometimes drawn between aesthetics and ecology. While beauty is at the heart of his designs, his gardens are also sustainable, biodiverse and ecologically sound.
